Welcome to my first ever post. One of things I’m asked most often is what works “best” when picking up women. Initially, this might seem a very general question, and I’m the first to admit we could go off on a lot of different tangents. One of the things I quickly realised when I was learning how to become successful with women was that emotions play a huge role in who they’re attracted to. Now, I’m sure this doesn’t come as a great surprise to most of you, but what did surprise me was the importance that ladies place on “excitement” in deciding who they’re attracted to. I really cannot overstate this enough.

Women love what I can only describe as, “the spark of attraction”, the excitement , the promise of romance. And who can blame them , most of us relish it to. So the question becomes, “How do we spark attraction, how do we create and maintain the excitement and heady promise of romance?”

Fortunately, for us, there’s an easy answer. We use a mix of romantic pick up lines and flirting. Together these two create an explosive combination that rapidly sparks attraction and excitement.

Well, contrary to what you might be thinking the pick up line doesn’t come first. Let me give you a ‘golden tip’ here. You must always lead with some flirting. Glance in her direction, let the excitement build, then be a little bolder in your eye contact, smile at her then look away, play the ‘game’ and have fun doing it. Use this flirting to gauge her interest then, and only then, approach her with your romantic line. So many guys neglect to do this. Instead they charge in, then wonder why their reception is ‘less than welcoming’.

The romantic pickup line comes in lots of different flavours. I’ve used funny romantic pick up lines, sweet romantic pick up lines, bad pickup lines, flirty pick up lines and even cheesy pickup lines to ‘get in’ with the girl I’m attracted to but the best romantic pick up line is always the one that works.

What I mean when I say this is that it doesn’t so much matter what you say, it’s how you say it. You must project an air of quiet confidence even if you’re feeling nervous. One of the best ways to do this is to focus on your physiology, or your “physical presence”.

Don’t focus on ‘the line’ you’re going to use. Instead focus on yourself. As you’re walking over there pull your shoulders back, straighten up and walk tall. Doing these ‘physical adjustments has a remarkable impact on your emotions, specifically your self confidence so do it.

When you reach her you want to project your confidence further. A great ways to do this is to be aware of the impact your voice has , and I don’t mean the words. Instead you want to focus on the tone of your voice and the tempo. People who talk at a slightly slower tempo are ‘rightly or wrongly’ percieved as being more confident and sure of themselves so use this and slow your speech down just a fraction.

The same is true for the tone of your voice. I know for some it can be a little nerve wracking approaching woman and the voice can become a little nervous so counter this by talking slightly deeper.

Today, I’ve tried to provide an overview. I wanted to focus on romantic pick up lines because I know they work and it’s an area that is largely ignored….if you can master afew good romantic pickup lines you’re going to be well on your way to sparking the attraction and excitement that women crave.
