Today I would like to talk to you about a hidden ‘Pot of Gold’……..the corny pick up line.

For most guys, ‘corney pick up lines’ and ‘ cheesy pick up lines ‘ rank right up there with a trip to the dentist. They are something we ‘avoid at all costs’, and generally speaking they make us “sick”….LOL…..But, what if I told you that I know a small number of great pick up artists who ’swear by them’.

Surprised ?? I know I was….. That was, “until I saw this method in action and now, even I am a convert.

The truth is that ‘ corny pick up lines ‘ are misunderstood. On the ’surface’ cheesy pick up lines, corny pick up lines, lame pick up lines….whatever you wish to call “them”…..are rarely used because they’re seen as ‘canned lines’ and the sort of line that will cause girls to ‘roll their eyes’. But this is only the case if you do it wrong. If done correctly, they can be your ‘pot of gold’.

When using one of these pickup lines you must appear AKWARD, maybe even a little embarrised. As my good friend, Alan, explained it to me you’re trying to come across as a little inexperienced and innocent. This is the key. Let me show you how it works with an example.

We ‘ll choose one of the lamest pick up lines I know….so how about;

“Kiss me if I’m wrong , but is your name Pineapple?”

A ‘ sweet romantic pick up line ‘ but very corny, yes !!.

So, here’s how it works.

Step 1. Approach the girl and disarm her with a cute but cheesy pick up line. Try and look a little embarrassed, a little awkward.

Step 2. Then, laugh ever so slightly and say, “I can’t believe I actually said that….I’m not very good at this am I”.

( The key here is to come across a little shy, like you don’t do this sort of thing very often )

At this stage there’s a good chance she’ll laugh gently and reassure you it wasn’t “that bad”. Alternatively, she might say it was “shocking”. Either way is good.

Step 3. Ask her , “Can you keep a secret ?”

If she answers “Yes” , say “You’ve got to promise me you won’t tell my friends what I just said”, then laugh.

If she answers “No, I can’t keep a secret”, just laugh and say, ” Naughty, aren’t you….but I’ll risk it, promise me you won’t tell my friends what I just said”, then laugh.

Step 4. Then light heatedly make her hold up her hand and ’swear’ an oath to keep your secret…

Say to her. “Hold up your hand and follow me….’I promise not to tell OUR friends what Dillion just said to me or reaveal any of naughty secrets”.

Make a game of it, have fun.

Give it a go….this method works a ‘treat’ PLUS it’s a lot of fun. Also, it’s great for ‘newbies’. If you are new to the pick up game or get a little nervous then this method takes that problem and turns it into a ‘positive’, as sounding slightly nervous and awkward’ is ‘in keeping’ with the impression your trying to create.
